Responsibilities / Job Description
? As member of Global Trade Finance Product Management (TFPM) and member of Greater China sub-regional TF PM function.
? Primary responsibility for China in-country Trade finance product management function.
? Supportive responsibility for Trade finance product management function in Hong Kong and Taiwan.
Product deployment
? Identify the market problems; assess business case for product initiative.
? Lead and coordinate with component products and GT for product development, ensure end to end delivery. Including development, release management, UAT, product and customer documentation, communication and training
? Conduct NPA with coordination with all relevant stakeholders, i.e. Sales, Global Trade Operations & Services, CRM, Legal, ORM, Tax, IT, Finance, Audit, Compliance etc.
? Navigate the local regulatory changes and apply to all products to ensure the conformity.
Product management and commercialization.
? Conduct product trainings and workshops.
? Improve product information and knowledge dissemination within Franchise; share the local know-how across regions.
? Improve market perception and competitive position of TF products.
? Develop Product Marketing material.
Professional and personal qualifications
? 10+ years experience in Trade Sales / Trade Operations & Services / Trade Product Management.
? Understanding and good insight into China market.
? Familiarity with Documentary Trade and Guarantee, Transactional Based Finance, Financial Supply Chain and local trade products.
? Experience in a client facing role would be an added advantage for this role. Technical knowledge of related IT systems would be of advantage.
? Experience in international assignment is desirable.?

? Strategic thinking.
? Strong analytical skills. Needs to understand, structure and solve complex subject areas
? Project- management skills.
? Good communication and influential skills. Effective and concise communicator, both verbal and written.
? Strong self-initiative, solution oriented, action driven and pro-active.
? Good team player with strong interpersonal skills; capability to work with large, remote and cross regional teams is very important.
? Innovative mindset. Can think out of the box to find innovative solutions, prepared to question status quo
? Flexibility and ability to travel
? Able to motivate and mobilize resources to perform in the product area.
