Position Title: Financial Accountant-Contractor（3rd party)
Location: Shanghai
Reports to (Title): AP Manager Reporting Manager


Purpose of the position:

？ Financial accounting and closing activities for Goodyear Tire Mgmt. Co. (Shanghai) Ltd. (SMC).
？ Responsible for internal controls (Sox testing) and procedures around expenditure processes. Includes monitoring and managing cash position of SMC so that invoices are timely paid.
？ Handle various tax matters involving monthly tax filing, VAT exemption, government incentive and crop tax requirement on SMC
？ Closely work with external and internal auditors regarding matters pertaining to SMC
？ Support other various reporting and closing activities related to the Asia Pacific Region

Main responsibilities:

？ Perform month end closing process for SMC (dual ledger local GAAP and US GAAP)
？ Participate in Sarbanes-Oxley compliance including the design and documentation of process flows, related controls and testing of the controls for SMC.
？ Perform account reconciliations for SMC accounts.
？ Perform bank reconciliations for SMC.
？ Online banking and payment processing for SMC vouchers.
？ Verification of shopping card (purchase request) and purchase order and goods receipts in SRM system for each vendor payment
？ do monthly balance sheet and working capital analysis and expenses analysis
？ Liase with associates in GY China to facilitate processing of expense reports for associates of SMC.
？ Proactively work to change and improve processes within the regional office.
？ Responsible for SAP access testing and segregation of duties testing for SMC
？ Supervise accounting interns who assist with various vendor payment and employee expenses processing activities
？ Other misc. general accounting responsibilities and special projects
？ Allocate regional charges between those items billable to GY China vs Other GY Locations
？ deal with all IBS (intercompany billing system) by processing inbound and outbound cables
？ to do regional service charge true up and proper analysis on the movement
？ Work closely with external auditors to complete statutory financial audit of SMC.
？ Work closely with external auditors to complete transfer pricing analysis and audit of services provided by SMC to the GY Asia Pacific Region
？ Work with internal auditors on testing performed over processes & procedures for SMC
？ Work closely with China tax manager to ensure SMC's tax accounting is done properly and the application for VAT exemption and government incentive is done properly as well
？ Work closely with external auditors to complete transfer pricing analysis
？ To report ETR for SMC monthly and meet the other tax requirements on SMC



Requirements:
？ 3 years working experience (at least two years in an organization with a complex reporting structure),could accept new graduates.
？ Knowledge of Chinese Statutory reporting requirements
？ Knowledge of using SAP FI module for completing financial statement close
？ Experienced in reconciling accounts
？ Knowledge of Sarbanes-Oxley 404 or other knowledge of managing and processing internal controls.
？ Energetic, optimistic, creative and innovative person…a team player
？ Effective English written and verbal skills
？ Knowledge of US GAAP plus
