Job Title: Sr. Corporate Communications Executive
Location: Beijing, China

Job Purpose:
The main purpose of this job is to continuously enhance brand awareness and increase visibility for ST in China, to develop and implement communication strategies and programs that meet the needs of the company and its products, and to maintain sound relationships with external stakeholders i.e. media, government, research institution and industry association to keeps their interests and positive attitudes toward to ST and its products. The key responsibilities include support for corporate communication, media relations management (translation and disseminating press release, coordinating interviews, planning and executing press conference and events, pitching technical articles, PR agency liaison, etc.) as well as marketing communication coordination, corporate branding deployment, top management / executive programs, government relations, corporate social responsibility.

Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities:
- Developing and implementing strategic corporate external communications plans that will support and reflect Company and business objectives in China
- Planning and executing communications programs in China to continuously strengthen ST's position and reputation as a leader in semiconductor industry, addressing key stakeholders such as media, government, business partners, customers, institutions, etc.
- Fostering and executing Product Groups/Corporate/Regional strategic media activities in China, including press release translation/distribution, media briefing/press conference, media tour, press conference, technical and byline articles, interviews, executive visit, etc.
- Maintaining mutually beneficial relationships with key business and trade media in China with deep understanding of the trend of media landscape, fulfilling media requests
- Identifying high impact media platform/opportunities, monitoring publications calendars, capturing interview opportunities, pitching ST bylined technical articles to China tech media
- Localizing and disseminating global press releases and evaluate media exposure, adapting relevant key messages in line with global/regional projects; working with BU and create local press releases.
- Supervising PR agency and vendors on day to day work
- Close collaboration with various Product Groups/external suppliers/contractors/vendors to organize full-fledged local marketing communication events in such as trade shows, technology day, road shows, mass market efforts with distribution channel, product design contest, speaking platforms, marketing collateral, etc

Candidate Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Mass Communications or other relevant disciplines
- Minimum of 5-8 years related work experience in Corporate/Media Relations/Marketing Communications (preferably in semiconductor industry) or PR agency
- Good understanding of media landscape with excellent relationship with technical and mainstream media
- Favorable contacts with relevant business associations and government agencies
- Good understanding of business landscape esp in the semiconductor/IT industry in China
- Ability to work in simplified and traditional Chinese
- High competency in the engagement and deployment of local social media
- Possess high degree of autonomy and self-drive
- Strong leadership skills as well as good team player
- Proficiency in written and spoken English and Chinese Language
- Excellent organizational skills and keen eye for detail
- Good IT knowledge covering but not limited to Microsoft Office (word-processing, PowerPoint, spread sheets) 举报 分享
