Tasks:
- Identify innovative people and raw technologies outside Siemens
- Conduct technical and business due diligences
- Communicate with product managers in various Siemens business divisions to validate results
- Incubate raw technologies into future products, and develop early-stage startups into Siemens' strategic partners
- Guide teams and startup companies to bring projects to a successful exit

Education:
- Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering, Chemistry, Physics, Mechanical Engineering, or related fields, with an outstanding publication record, or MBA with outstanding technical knowledge and experience.

Knowledge/Languages:
- Fluent in written and oral English
- Able to sell complex technical ideas over the phone in English

Experience:
- Five years of overseas experience in at least two of the following fields: information, computing, communication, and control.
- Demonstrated project management skills
- Proven abstraction and analytic skills with an ability to think "outside the box".
- Demonstrated tenacity and flexibility to rapidly and reliably achieve goals
- Team builder with highly effective interpersonal skills
- Excellent verbal, writing and presentation skills; must be able to interact with C-level executives
