POSITION TITLE
Director, Retailer Vertical
THE POSITION
As a Director in Retailer Vertical, you will lead a client service team to manage and service a Nielsen global platinum account in order to maintain and grow clientele base so as to achieve planned financial objectives and other operational performance indicators.
Responsibilities
- Lead the client servicing team with the primary responsibility of expanding our scope of influence with clients across a wider range of products and with greater depth of involvement
- Maintain and further foster relationships with current clients with plans to cross sell and introduce new services to current clients
- Achieve revenue, profitability, quality, speed of delivery and productivity targets as well as other related business development objectives as assigned by continuous monitoring of actual vs budgeted performance, budget restrictions and proper pricing
- Identify areas of business opportunity and growth for the division and provide continuous feedback on competitive activities within assigned clients
- Foster relationships at all levels and functions of the client organization to identify opportunities for incremental product / solution sales
- Provide value adding product solutions and benefits to client business issues by developing strategic initiatives for each client and also through Client Management Process for the assigned accounts.
- Oversee the management and conduct of assigned research projects including preparation, approval and delivery of proposals, reports and presentations
Qualifications
- Over 10 years FMCG (marketing / sales) or research-related industry experience desired
- Expert knowledge of statistics and multivariate analysis
- Expert knowledge of research techniques and methodologies
- Strong client focus, proactive to engage client, excellent client service skill
- Excellent strategic thinking and critical thinking based on in-depth knowledge of retail industry
- Influential and effective presentation skill
