POSITION: Project Manager
Base Location: Beijing
Travel: Yes, a lot

Responsibilities:
The Project Manager manages project teams and undertakes project management work. In addition, the Project Manager is responsible for ensuring that his or her personal work in connection with client engagements is:
? of high quality content (i.e., deliverables prepared are consistent with the standards specified in Infor’s implementation methodology);
? in accordance with the approved work program for the engagement;
? planned using the implementation methodology and a proprietary project planning tool and properly monitored ;
? completed within the allotted time and hours budgeted; and
? documented in accordance with Infor standards
? The Project Manager position is heavily relied upon by the Practice Manager as a factor in achieving engagement objectives. Therefore, planning and control of individual work, good written and oral communication skills for self expression, dependability, professionalism and good consulting skills are all pre-requisites for this position.
The Project Manager would typically perform the following activities:
Manage the Planning and Setting-Up of Assigned Projects
? contribute to the development of the Project Quality Plan for new projects in line with laid down procedures;
? plan project resourcing requirements and inform Project Director/Practice Manager of these requirements as input to the resourcing process;
? contribute to the development of the Project Profitability Model by the Practice Manager as required
Manage Assigned Projects Ensuring That Budget, Timescale and Quality Standards Are Met
? in liaison with the Practice Manager, plan and manage project organization and resourcing over project life cycle ensuring appropriate level of resources in terms of numbers, skills, etc., to meet project targets;
? monitor project progress against defined project milestones and Project Quality Plan, and report as required to Practice Manager;
? escalate project problems to Practice Manager when appropriate;
? liaise with Practice Manager in managing customer relationship during project life cycle, ensuring optimum customer satisfaction within framework of project business targets;
? ensure that project enhancements/extensions are costed and agreed with ICS Manager;
? assist the Practice Manager with financial monitoring of project and contribute to invoicing process/cash collection, etc., when required
Manage Project Teams
? provide on-the-job training and coaching for team members on project-related areas, and inform Line Managers of any individual general training requirements;
? deal with problems of team members, escalating disciplinary or other serious situations to appropriate Managers;
? optimize morale and motivation of team members;
? ensure effective delegation of work and responsibilities within the team to optimize job satisfaction
? ensure effective communications within the team
Provide Technical and Project Management Support to the Regions in Sales Situations/Bid Process
? for assigned projects, work with Account Manager/Sales Support staff in the development of technical designs and solutions to meet requirements of Bid;
? undertake customer visits, make presentations etc., as required by Account Manager to support the Bid process;
? contribute as required to the development of Project Plans for potential projects, including resourcing plans;
? contribute to the risk assessment process for potential projects as required
Undertake Development Work
? investigate user requirements and produce functional specifications;
? produce systems designs;
? design, develop and document complex programs;
? develop test plans and design and implement test systems;
? ensure that all development work meets required quality, budget and timescale standards
Undertake Any Other Duties and Responsibilities Which May From Time to Time be Assigned

Qualifications
The qualifications for the position of Project Manager include:
？ A first degree is desirable in Computer science or related;
？ A minimum of ten years experience in project management or business management, solid hands on project management experience needs to be demonstrated.
？ Strong domain experience in supply chain/logistic is also required.
？ Business re-engineering experience would be an advantage.
？ Other combinations may require more total years of experience.
？ A solid understanding of application requirements should be demonstrable from previous work experience.
？ Good written and oral communication skills for self expression should be exhibited.
？ Ability to work in teams as well as individually is required.
？ Global & rollout implementation project management skill would be an advantage 举报 分享
