职位描述
Goals/Mission:
- Ensuring strategic procurement for the assigned material fields, in which case the potential for bundling all sites/projects of the Sector is exploited to achieve the best conditions based on delivery excellence.
- Responsible for the development and implementation of the commodity strategies across the business units in the Sector.
- Accountable for material cost, long-term assurance of supply, supplier performance and support of supplier selection requirements as well as supply management related information and data management for assigned commodity.
- Support the GVS program within Regional Sector.
Tasks:
- Organize and execute Sector-wide bundling of the demands of the different OCs and projects for optimum utilization of procurement power.
- By delegation of the PuC team define and implement the Cluster commodity procurement, supply and bundling Strategies in order to achieve the maximum profit contribution to the Cluster Sectors' targets.
- By delegation implement global sourcing projects as required.
- Analyze demand, markets and suppliers to create a basis for deciding on the optimum sourcing strategy. Ensure that supply market research data is available to support business decisions during product/service development and industrialization phases across the various Operating Companies.
- For the scope of the cluster, implement and lead a cross-locational competence network within the sectors/OCs buyers organizations to define and implement Cluster commodity strategies, share competence and best practices, and drive common improvement programs for the assigned commodities
- Break down (commodity-related) regional PuC target figures into OCs and set the corresponding targets, ensuring that cost, flexibility, quality, delivery and long-term ensurance of supply objectives with the supply base are established and achieved.
- By delegation of the PuC manager, conduct global / regional price and contract negotiations with contract conclusion to guarantee security of supplies at the best Total Cost of Ownership and in line with the general CSCM guidelines.
- Undertake supplier management (jointly with partner functions, e.g. specialist department, Q. logistics, etc.) in order to recruit and develop the best suppliers towards achieving an optimum supply chain through supplier relationship, supplier negotiations and supplier performance measurement feedback programs.
- Supports PUCs with regional input on new technology roadmaps for the assigned commodity that contribute to the development efforts of the Business Units.
- Define and implement concepts for risk and contract management to avoid risk and warranty costs.
Experience/Language:
- At least 5 years’ working in procurement and cross-functional experience through project workin a related functional area
- Fluent in Mandarin and English (both written/spoken)
- Significant knowledge about Quality Management System and team coaching
- Self propelled and comfortable at building relationship and network
- Perfect track record of ethical behavior.
Education:
- Bachelor or above, on Engineering.
