What are my responsibilities?
- Global business development for LR products: strategy, budgeting, planning, implementing, monitoring, controlling, reporting.
- Focus: Finished Product Handling (FPH) and Aluminum business.
- Driving a sales force located in different Countries (mainly USA, Europe, India, China, Brazil).
- Reporting to Global Business Segment Head as well as to the Regional Business Segment Head.
- Successfully implement the product business model within a project business entity.
- Facilitating the interface between the Product Life Cycle managers and the factory, within the Business Segment, with regard to the selected Products.
- Applying and making sure that pre-project activities (sales) and project execution (project management) are duly followed according to applicable MT processes.
- Supporting Project Managers during execution phase.
- Conduct quarterly, bi-quarterly and annually dedicated market researches and feedbacks to PLM’s and factory.
- Ensure the timely delivery of all client deliverables.
- Ensure that timely and efficient communication of all internal reports is met.
- Ensure that all Siemens processes are adhered to.
- Ensure that succession planning is constantly under control.
What do I need to qualify for this job?
- More than 10 years experience of product business in metals industry (preferably steel).
- Strong management skills.
- Good leadership skills and intercultural sensitivity.
- Proven working experience in emerging markets (especially China).
- Excellent communication skills: written, oral.
- Knowledge and interest in long rolling technology is a key advantage.
- Engineering education.
- Post-graduation business-oriented education would be a plus.
