- For our APAC team based in Brande, Denmark, we are looking for an EHS Manager to be responsible for EHS Assessments and for managing the EHS support to the APAC business unit. You will be head of the EHS expert team within the business unit, and furthermore it will be your responsibility to review local specific EHS procedures and instructions.

Work Assignments
- As our EHS Manager you will be responsible for ensuring license to operate, indentify, monitor and analyze environmental issues and for adding value by using environmental indicators to improve processes. You will also act as a supervisor to the production management in all environmental, health and safety matters. More specifically, your main responsibilities will cover:

· Implementing and continuously improving our management system based on ISO 14001 and OHSAS 18001

· Collecting and reporting environmental, health and safety data

· Implementing legal compliance processes in cooperation with the management

· Planning and driving processes regarding occupational health and safety, environment and accidents/incidents

· Supporting and supervising EHS officers and safety representatives in their work and being their EHS knowledge back-up

· Planning and supporting cross-functional EHS project works in the organization and thus ensuring an optimal EHS level in the projects

· Being responsible for the technical safety committee

- In this position you must expect up to 2 weeks of travel every second month.

Your Profile

- Preferably, you have a degree in Engineering or a similar technical education combined with relevant safety/environmental training and a minimum of 3 years of EHS experience from an industrial business or a similar function. In addition, you have experience with preparing EHS safety rules and regulations as well as with EHS legislative compliance. You are familiar with management systems (OHSAS 18001, ISO 14001 or integrated management system), and preferably you also are an experienced tutor. As a person you are working efficiently and independently, and you have a structured approach to your assignments. Furthermore, you are a skilled communicator and you possess excellent English skills both orally and in writing.
