Description/Definition
Summary:
- Responsible for creating project costs calculation on the basis of project specific transport and construction concepts for international projects, including risk management. Performs request for proposal during Sale phase for construction and transportation related services and shortlist subcontractors with the target to secure the transportation and cranes/installation needs of the sites.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain Project Cost Finder tool for Transportation cost calculation (budgetary offers)
- Calculate project cost budgets (transport, cranes/installation, PM) during tendering phase for projects (Binding offers)
- Prepare Time Schedules and other relevant documentation in relation to the execution of the projects during the Tendering phase.
- Support Sales & Proposals during the Tendering phase, and participate during customer contract negotiations.
- Ensure cost-competitive solution for construction related activities
- Carry out route and site surveys.
- Develop and maintain region specific knowledge on commercial installation and transportation issues
- Provide support in the subcontractor selection and negotiation if required
