Purpose of Job:
Responsible for coaching / guiding Distributors on proper operation, development and performance in the Interstate system.
Monitor Distributorship commitments and execute action plans that assist our partners in achieving shared goals.
Promote the Interstate culture, look and feel in each Distributor location.
Job Components
? Tasked with managing overall WD relationship within assigned group or region.
? Coach Distributors in use of system tools and programs designed to bring value to the IB-WD relationship
? Training WD associates on IB sales tactics and programs
? Develop productive relationships with Business Owner, Operator and other staff.
? Monitor and achieve compliance with IB operational requirements (dedicated vehicles, dedicated staff, unit targets, NAC service levels).
? Conduct regular consultations with Distributor that result in Operational Improvement Plans (OIP) focused on continuously improving sales, routes, people management and internal operations.
? Frequent travel to distributorship locations (60% - 75% travel).
Qualifications
? Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent business experience is required.
? Must possess excellent interpersonal, communication, presentation and negotiation skills.
? Strong planning and business development skills. Ability to build and maintain effective relationships.
? Excellent organization skills, accustomed to tight deadlines with accuracy.
? Team oriented approach is necessary and must be able to collaborate with various functional groups.
? Ability to manage multiple projects and work in a fast paced environment.
? Proficient in MS Office – particularly Excel, Word and Powerpoint.
