Mission
- Design and implement future-oriented strategies, methods, processes (international and company-wide scope) and systems to contribute to the development and improvement of relevant workstreams within Wind Power Business Unit APAC and in collaboration with the other BUs and Division.
Tasks and Responsibilities
- Responsible for interdisciplinary project work and management of (strategic) projects: Identifying cross functional or departmental improvement areas and define, drive and implement those using project management skills, tools and methods (including coordination, controlling and monitoring) e.g. PM@Siemens to meet the targets of the projects (e.g. required time, quality and content).
- Design and implement future-oriented, innovative concepts within the BU and companywide to secure the success of the relevant workstream with a systematic and strategic approach. As an example the coordination of the procurement participation and interface in the Engineering Change Management needs to be run ongoingly.
- Drive Standardization
- Design and implement standardized methods, processes and systems to optimize processes and work results.
- Undertake benchmarking activities to gain information about methods, processes and systems of competitors.
- Manage teams / workgroups and improve communcation and knowledge sharing
- Coordinate and manage teams/ workgroups and/ or assigned Specialist Procurement employees to achieve the best outcomes by joint, goal-oriented actions. Participate in workgroups and projects to ensure an information flow.
- Gather and prepare internal and external information and provide it to the community to stay and keep others informed
- Communicate to internal customers and conduct onsite qualifications to amplify the knowledge.
- Controlling and reporting of procurement KPIs (key performance indicators)
- Exercising reporting system function with selection, development and introduction of suitable controlling tools (in consideration of superior guidelines or controlling-tools) to provide a well-ordered (management) information system. This especially the controlling of all set Procurement KPI (like PVO, GVS, PPC and rate of eAuctions etc.)
- Improvement of dataquality by controlling the data in the different systems and starting/conductiong the corrections.
