Mission of function
- This position will play the role of an Application Engineer for the NX Part Modeling QA team in Shanghai, China. Responsible for monitoring quality of the NX Part Modeling after integration of projects and bug fixes, based on the execution of automatic and interactive tests. Utilize industry/CAD and work experience to ensure Part Modeling or Architecture product satisfies needs.

Task
- The job duties are as follows:
- Perform both interactive and automated tests in NX software to identifying failures.
- Create test plan based on approved Functional Specification document.
- Perform interactive test based on approved test plan to identify gaps between implementation and design.
- Create additional automated tests once the implementation is completed.
- Perform regression tests to ensure no new issues are introduced as a result of code change.
- Report issues found in a timely fashion. Recommend priority of the issues using industry/CAD knowledge.
- Interact with customers as necessary to understand the best practice of NX.

Knowledge
- Proficiency in using NX, including NX Modeling/Assembly/Drafting etc
- Software Testing Experience, Software Quality Methodologies, Purify

Experience
- Masters Degree or above in Mechanical Engineering or Software Engineering
- Experienced Bachelor Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Software Engineering
- Proficiency in using NX, including NX Modeling/Assembly/Drafting etc
- Software Testing Experience, Software Quality Methodologies, Purify
- Know software test methodology, tools for testing, and product installation.
- Familiar with other CAD/CAM software(s) is preferred
- Coding experience is preferred
- Must be detail oriented with strong problem solving skills
- Good problem-solving and decision making skills
- Good written and verbal English skills. Ability to communicate effectively
- Team work and ability to produce quality work under pressure

Education and Language
- Masters Degree or above in Mechanical Engineering or Software Engineering
