Flex / FlashProgrammer


General Description

Ubisoft Chengdu is seeking for talented web programmer with experience and expertise in the web game domain. The main responsibility of the Flex programmer would be to make various modules for online web games. The Flex programmer should be capable enough for creating various technical solutions as per the design requirements,optimizing and maintaining the game.


Responsibilities:

- Using IDE / ActionScriptdesign, develops and optimizeweb based games functionalities;
- Work closely with UI team members (UI artists and UI designers) to ensure UI and interaction design is done within the desired quality;
- Discuss with back-end programmer to get the best interface solution to organize data sharing/transfer between UI system and game database;
- Create and complete autonomously based on the requirements and schedule approved by management;
- Help junior programmers solve technical issues and supervise them improve their performance.

Requirements:
- Strong knowledge of ActionScript 3.0 and Flex;
- Strong knowledge of data exchange between front-back (XML, Webservice, Socket and etc...);
- Have a strong understanding of Object Oriented Programming and good coding practice;
- Good experience in Flash animation design;
- Understand UI development workflow;
- Understand Web front-end programming technology (JS, HTML, CSS);
- Graduated from a University degree program or equivalent from a recognized institution.
- Good communication skills in both English and Chinese;
- 2+ years programming experience;
- Passion for creating and playing games.
- Experience with web games and social games are preferable.
