Title: Sr. Product Manager
Location: Chengdu, Sichuan, China
Summary:
We are seeking a Sr. Product Manager who will be in charge of a network product line SK super gateway series. He will use his strong experience of mix business, technical and management skills to help engineering develop a next generation network product for the carrier networks in Japan and China.
Duties and Responsibilities:
. Specifying product requirements for key carrier customers
. Manage product road-map, features/functions and software release
. Manage and analysis customer requests/cases to ensure issues are recorded, tracked, resolved, and follow ups are done in a timely manner.
. Attend engineering, QA meeting to define the fault isolation and root cause analysis for technical issues.
. Publish Technical Bulletins and other technical documentation in the Knowledge Base and product training to SE/Support people and customers
. Review of technical documentation for training materials, technical marketing collateral, manuals, troubleshooting guides, etc.

Qualifications:
. More than 8 years hands-on layer2/3 network experience on designing, supporting and troubleshooting and 3+ years of product management experiences of managing product process, road-map, features/function and related PM operations
. Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical audiences
. Coordinated press releasing activities in between customers and various HQ
. Perform competitive analysis to assist product marketing team to set company
development strategy
. Customer engagement and relationship development including business proposal
generation and contact negotiation.
. Strong knowledge of Layer2/3 technologies including VLANs, 802.1q and STP etc tunneling protocol; IP routing protocols, such as Static Route, OSPF, RIP and VRRP/HSRP, etc.
. Strong knowledge of DNS, DHCP, NAT, VPN, Radius, AAA and Network Management Systems (NMS).
. Familiarity with 802.1x, QoS, and general security tunneling protocols, like EtherIP, CAPWAP, GRE, IPSEC, etc
. Expert knowledge of user access and authentication protocols and methods, in particular EAP-SIM, Web Portal, WPA/WPA2, WEP Radius.
. BSCS/EE or equivalent required (CCIE is big plus)
. Good in writing technical documents and speak Japanese or/and English is big plus.
. Up to 30% travel
