Job Purpose:
To supervise and manage conference logistics coordinators who will deliver commercial conferences and to deliver own portfolio of conferences and seminars.


Key Responsibilities:

Lead and manage an engaged and motivated team of conference logistics coordinators
Oversee operations in geographical area – scheduling logistics staff to ensure appropriate resource is assigned with the right expertise
Conference planning and project management
Quality assuring all conferences delivered within the team
Production and technical management
Budget management - control of costs, achieving gross profit, accurate financial reporting
On-site management – delivering conferences to highest standards
Sponsorship/partnership management – maintain relationships with key stakeholders and partners
Effective communication with conference producers
Supplier management
Conference measurement – delegate/stakeholder evaluation for all conferences

Experience Requried:

Experience of delivering high level logistical support for B2B conferences
Strong project management skills – delivery on time and within budget
Management of teams
Customer focused, ability to build working relationships
Good interpersonal skills
Good communicator
Negotiation skills
Problem solving ability, creativity, drive and entrepreneurial spirit
Experience of procurement and supplier management
