Role Description - Summary:
The Sales Support team is responsible for processing trades and providing support to the Institutional Client Group and the Corporate Treasury Sales Desks. In addition, to ensure there are robust controls and reconciliations in place to verify the completeness and accuracy of trade information.


Sales Support roles have the following common characteristics:
– Responsibilities include trade validation, amendments, monitoring of trade events, resolving queries and being the bridge between Operations and Sales.
– Fielding client/internal queries in the form of emails and calls with regards to confirmation/settlement issue resolution.
– Participate in CTB initiatives of the team as well as region-wide.
– Liaise with different support teams for escalation and remediation of daily issues encountered.
– Work with different stakeholders to improve existing processes and outputs.
– Prepare various MIS reports to Sales and support Sales in tracking and following up on trade documents.
Responsibilities/Tasks:
– Performs query resolution for processes within his/her teams remit and regularly assesses the effectiveness of the checks.
– Main interface with Sales teams in Sales hubs and provides inputs into both regular and ad-hoc forums with them (i.e. escalated issues reviews, control calls etc.)
– Provides summary of KRIs for their business area and remediation plans where SLAs are being missed and/or where issues exist.
– Facilitates CTB initiatives and drives continuous improvement program within their team.


Experience/Exposure:
– At least 2-4 years of relevant experience in Operations or Middle Office space.
– FX/Derivatives/Fixed Income product knowledge preferred.
– Business Finance, Economics or equivalent degree.
– Excellent understanding of FTB process and control environment.
– Good cultural awareness and able to manage stakeholders across locations.
– Good Stakeholder Management skills.
– Good communication skills, fluent in English (written/verbal).
– Team worker, able to work in virtual global teams and in a matrix organization.
– Open minded, able to share information, transfer knowledge and expertise to team members.
– Flexibility regarding problem solving.


Education/Certification:
