Job Description:
RF & Antenna Design Engineer is in charge of the RF & & Antenna design for the FWA (Fixed Wireless Access) products.
1. Track and analysis the key RF & Antenna technologies of FWA product, cover major mmWave bands (25~60GHz) and traditional wireless bands
2. Responsible for the overall design of RF signal chain and antenna modules design, simulation, validation and delivery quality in professional way
3. Cooperation with other teams to ensure the design can be implemented in leading product successfully with significant cost and technical advantage
4. Draft technical specification, design guideline and related documents for owned solution.
Qualifications:
1. Education background: Master degree or above with major in telecommunication, electronics engineering, microwave technology or related field.
2. Work experience: >5 years RF or Antenna design background with proven product delivery record
3. Specific Skills:
- Deep understanding of electromagnetic and RF/MW theory.
- Knowledge of wireless RF standards (e.g. GSM, UMTS, LTE, WiFi (802.11), Bluetooth, others).
- In-deep knowledge of RF transceiver system, and excellent skill of analyzing the system requirements and link budget, identifying technical risks within the RF subsystem specifications, capable solve major challenges independently
- Familiar with one or more of the following RF module: antenna, amplifier, filter, mixer, PLL, ADC/DAC…
- Familiar with following RF design tool is preferred: ADS, HFSS, CST and GENESYS.
- Skillful using RF instruments such as spectrum analyzer, network analyzer, signal generator, power meter...
4. General competencies:
- Proactive & Initiative.
- Good communication and presentation skills.
- Good team-work for cooperation.
- Quick learning and problem solving skills.
5. Language Ability: fluent in both oral and written English.
