The Role
The CRD creates and articulates a clear vision and client-focused strategy based on helping clients succeed through business solutions in talent & reward and, in due course, retirement and other Lines of Business offered by Willis Towers Watson. The CRD is responsible for personally generating profitable new business and attracting and developing top performing Associates who deliver high quality client services and operating as a member of the Client Relationship Development.
Performance Objectives:
Clients
?Enhance and manage Willis Towers Watson’s media profile within China.
?Manage selected key accounts in a way that results in long term client relationships with multiple lines of service across practices.
?Provide thought leadership and strategic direction on critical issues related to client business issues.
?Personally win and oversee the execution of profitable new business through the development and exploitation of executive level relationships.

?Represent Willis Towers Watson in a way that strengthens our presence and linkage to key organizations in the marketplace

Financial
?Direct responsibility for achieving profitable client revenue growth in all Lines of Business within China.
?Develop and execute sales strategy and business plans that meet or exceed annual performance targets for revenue growth and profitability.
?Contribute to the growth of the business in China.
?Assess the marketplace for commercial opportunities and think strategically to create and articulate an exciting vision and strategy that results in a strong business in the local market
?Work closely with all segment business leaders and practice leaders to develop annual business plans in alignment with company & China business strategy and key initiatives.
People
?Lead and manage the senior management team in China, emphasizing business development and coordination of services across Lines of Business
?Lead and coordinate the marketing and sales efforts of senior consultants across several practices.
?Be a positive role model to all associates, fostering a collaborative environment
The Requirements
?Fluent in English & Chinese
?Proven network amongst local Chinese business leaders, government bodies and SOEs
?Minimum of ten years of success in consulting, including a proven track record of building a successful practice or office.
?Skilled at establishing boardroom credibility and in discussing complex client business issues and potential solutions.
?Demonstrated skill in building long term client relationships and evidence of current relationships with local business leaders representing potential new business.
?Demonstrated capacity to build a consulting business in a developing market.
?Proven skills in developing business strategy, operating plans and financial budgets that result in profitable revenue growth.
?Highly respected for helping clients achieve their business goals through targeted initiatives.
?Inspirational leader with demonstrated competencies in building a client focused, employer of choice culture.
?Proven ability to lead and develop a team of high performing senior consultants.
?Self-driven achiever with a value for collaboration, decisiveness, integrity in all that is done.
