职位描述
- From SLC I MT SM, Siemens is looking to recruit an experienced Head of Sales. This role will be responsible for managing 10+ direct reports and reporting to business segment GM; sales and market development with high technical skills and expertise. Ability to interface and network with other important departments/fuctions/CoC's for the execution of his/her job: complete execution of sales process for complete plant solutions.
- Head of sales manages a team of skilled technical sales people, dealing with the entire pre-project phase: presentations to customers, attend technical meetings, prepare technical and commercial offers and answer to bids/tenders, negotiating and influencing customers in their CAPEX decisions, assist PM during project handover phase. Moreover, he/she needs to assess business and project opportunities and forecast sales on quarter/year and mid-term basis. Visionary approach in his/her business is highly desired.
What are my responsibilities?
- Driving the sales to successful order award
- Internal/external networking
- General revision of technical specification
- Support during discussion and finalisation of technical specification with customers
- Order cost calculation, price/LoA
- Understanding in equipment dimensioning & calculation
- Support in preparing technical presentations to customers
- Overview of business processes during project execution
What do I need to qualify for this job?
- Metallurgy as a whole
- Hot rolling of steel
- General design practices and engineering calculations
- Fluent in English
- Required: >7 years of professional experience in steel industrial plants (sales or production); preferred: long rolling
- Good competence at estimation and sinthesys
- Skilled manager with potential to grow
- Working proficiently with people of different cultures
- Required: Bachelor; desired: Master
- Mechanical engineer, metallurgical engineer
