职位描述：
GENERAL:
- The cleanliness and nice presentation at the reception desk
- To welcome the guests and seat them
- To take telephone calls, take reservations and contact guests
- Reconfirm all reservations of the respective day
- Handle and channel all messages received

MAIN TASKS:
- Maintain the cleanliness at the reception desk
- Take reservations but not more than the restaurant can accommodate and write them down into the reservation book. It helps us to organize the service
- Welcome guests at the door and bring them to a preferred and available table
- Inform the station supervisor of new arrivals, in order for him to coordinate the service
- Assist the waiter to set and clean up the tables during the rush hours if needed
- When customer are leaving, stand beside him thank him for patronizing the restaurant, and wish him a good day
- Update guest history on a daily basis
- Check all reservations with guest history
- Make sure that the table set up is corresponding to your seating plan
- Calculate number of covers, set menus as well as the guest mix and also accumulate a month to date as a basic information for the log book
- Farewell the leaving guests, thank them for their patronage
- Leave your hostess desk always in a good condition 举报 分享
