职位描述：
This role will report to the IT Site Manager and will be responsible for the lead support and maintenance of the server, network, and application related infrastructure for the company’s Asia Pacific Headquarters, China national operations, and various collocated/remote facilities within the country.
Operational Responsibilities include:
 

• Manage day-to-day IT operations (e.g. infrastructure, facility, VC/AE room, application support, relationships with the business) and escalates as necessary.
• Act as leader to resolve day-to-day operational issues of China infrastructure network by working with central IT teams and customers effectively, and ensure that IT infrastructure availability is within accepted operational-level agreements (OLA)
• Ensures corporate IT standards are consistently followed for all IT operations activities.
• Act as primary interface to work with sponsors, key stakeholders, and global teams to support the deployment of global services, processes, technologies, and applications.
• Determine proper support tools and processes are used to resolve incidents in a timely manner.
• Act as leader to prepare Business Continuity Plans (BCP) and Disaster Recovery (DR) processes, and facilitates execution.
• Manages access controls for suppliers.
• Act as interface to work closely with business customers to document business requirements for complex problems, and work with business analysts and project managers to build on-going support model.
• Executes a range of activities (e.g. root cause investigation, incident resolution) for a range of processes or service.
• Ensures desk procedures are up to date.
• Determine process and technology improvements and makes recommendations to IT supervision/management.
• Provide support and migration activities as needed during international hours (extended hours).
• Performs maintenance of appropriate disaster recovery data center facilities or infrastructure as needed.
• Maintain a strategic understanding of the existing network infrastructure in China and its relationship to the business & Telecom Carriers. Manage vendor relationships within various sections of Telecom Service and Network service to exceed client expectations and technical needs.
• Maintain a strategic understanding of the existing markets and technology direction in China and its relationship to the business & Ford policies. Ensure compliance with international regulatory network guidelines.
• Maybe required to travel to various locations in China to do support for remote locations

 Leadership Responsibilities include:
 

• Manage vendor relationships within various sections of Telecom Service and Network service (more than 7 vendors) to exceed client expectations and technical needs.
• Assist the Site IT Manager in the review of performance, metrics, OLA review both within the IT organization as well as 3rd party suppliers.
• Lead internal resources for optimal network design, server design and adherence to Ford policies. Provide technical consultant to management, peers and joint ventures.
• Supervise team members to provide daily operation support on LAN, Wireless LAN, WAN, IP Tel, Voice, Video Conference, Meeting Rooms, data centers, and computer rooms, etc.

Area of professional exposure  
 

• Solid experience in maintaining IT Infrastructure and equipment including Cisco devices (Network and VoIP), Windows 20xx server, UNIX/Linux
• Familiarity in ITIL and ITSM concepts and practices
• Knowledge in formal problem analysis and process improvement methodologies (i.e. Six Sigma and 8D) preferred
• Experience of progressive responsibilities within IT, including customer support, day-to-day operations, supplier relationships, and/or Knowledge of the Microsoft Office and Windows suite of applications
• Ability to work independently with minimal direction
• Ability to communicate and work with diverse teams in high-pressure situations
• Knowledge of computer and telecoms room standards
• Experience of maintaining IT hardware (e.g. servers, scanners, printers)
• Knowledge of local skill team specific applications and infrastructure

Functional skills 
 

• Related certifications (ITIL, CCNA, PMP, ACP, MCSA, MCSE, etc.) will be an advantage
