Technical Support Engineer (GC & GCMS)

Agilent technologies Chemical Analysis Technical Support Group is recruiting a Technical Support Engineer based at Shanghai. This position is to provide technical support to Agilent's customer facing support engineers.

You are:
* Experienced in customer support or operation of analytical instrumentation
* Interested to assist others with technical problems
* A team player and self-motivated
* Able to work in a customer driven environment

You will:
* Provide technical assistance to customer facing support engineers
* Support Spectroscopy products
* Develop action plans and manage internal technical escalations of spectroscopy products
* Feedback technical issues experienced by our customers to the manufacturing divisions.
* Be prepared to visit customer sites to help resolve issues when required


The CAG Global service channel assist team adds value to the customer support organization by giving timely technical assistance to customer facing support teams. Support can be real time by phone primarily within the region or global email support.


We require that:
* You have several years of relevant technical experience operating or supporting GC & GCMS products.
* You are able to operate within an interrupt driven environment
* You have a customer first attitude
* You have demonstrated good remote communication skills
* Are able to travel up to 25% (customers visits, trainings, meetings etc)
* You are able to communicate in English language (written and spoken).
* You are educated to university level or equivalent
