Job Purpose :
? The primary role of the Product Manager is to introduce new products & build on existing product ranges to meet changing consumer demands as well as sales team’s requests
Key activities and responsibilities:
? Support sales teams with product & itinerary development. Gather product requests and track delivery. Ensure offers are timely and accurately communicated to the sales, marketing and operations departments and report on the results;
? Collate product descriptions and images and maintain an up-to-date product database;
? Research new products and maintain knowledge of competitors’ programs and prices by completing regular analysis on prices and customer offerings;
? To work closely with local teams and collaborate with different functional departments across Asia Pacific and Europe for product development;
? Organize product workshops and training sessions for our sales teams and our clients. Visit our clients and provide product insights (options, alternative routes, exclusive products and etc.) on a regular basis;
? Liaise with tourism bureaus, agencies and airline companies to organize a FAM trip;
? To work with Senior Business Development Manager on strategic projects;
? Attend various events, workshops and exhibitions to promote our services and to develop new business partners. To follow up on business opportunities and new offerings from suppliers for product development.
Knowledge & Skills:
? Passion for travel activities and a strong knowledge of outbound group travel programs
? Excellent communication & project coordination and management skills
? Proficient documentation skills and a keen sense for product design
? Highly motivated as both a team player and independent player
Experience & Qualifications :
? Bachelor’s degree in Tourism Management, Marketing or other related field
? 5 years above working experience, at least 3 years with China Outbound Travel Industry
? Experiences in working with a multinational organization is a plus
? Willing to travel domestic and international occasionally
