Supervisory Responsibilities: Manage the environmental compliance as well as the social responsibility needs.

Essential Responsibilities:

MWM Acoustics, LLC, specializes in providing OEM/ODM voice communication audio products. Its corporate headquarters are located in Indianapolis Indiana, with representative offices in Dongguan, and Weifang, China. MWM designs product in the US and leverages contract manufacturing resources in China and Mexico.

MWM is seeking a System Engineer (SE) to support the quality management system, and environmental system management and social responsibility management in China. The focus of this position will be to provide the supports for environmental compliance and social responsibility.

? Master the quality system such as ISO 9001, TS16949.
? Coordinate the customer audits (including the QMS, SER, Security audit etc.), working with the suppliers to complete the audit checklist, arranging the audit agenda, and preparation.
? Review the documents from suppliers for accuracy and customer requirements compliance.
? Review the SER requirements from different customers, doing gap analysis at different suppliers and following up the actions to close the gaps.
? Review the quality agreements, environmental compliance agreements, and social responsbility agreements from different customers for compliance identification.
? Lead the potential supplier pre-certification and coordinate the audit.
? Do internal quallity audit and maintain the data on the FTP site.
? Master the regulations and directives for environmental compliance and social responsility, such as the RoHs, WEEE, REACH, EICC, SA8000 requirements etc.
? Trainning and educating the suppliers for quality system compliance, the environmental compliance and social responsility needs to insure the compliance.
? Environmental Compliance Documents are documents and/or records for an environmental submission. Document types include, but are not limited to, accredited lab reports, substance reports, material composition datasheets, customer forms, IMDS modules, certificates of compliance, declarations of conformance, guarantees, warranties, idemnifications, questionnaires, and surveys.
? Work with Program Management/Sales to identify affected MWM part numbers and the customer’s environmental and labeling requirements with regard to the RoHS, Reach, or other customer-specific requirements or standards.
? Work with MWM FPE’s to collect environmental compliance documents from factories and/or sub-suppliers.
? Deliver environmental submissions to end customers. Make and meet commitments to end customers regarding environmental submission timing.
? Signoff/approval of declarations or warranty documents on behalf of MWM for environmental compliance and social responsibility compliance.
? Review of environmental compliance documents for accuracy.
? Storage of environmental compliance documents at a central server location.

Basic Qualifications:

? Have at least 4 years of college education.
? Have the ability to communicate in Mandarin and English.
? Familiar with the quality systems, such as ISO9001, TS16949.
? Familiar with the regulations and derectives, such like RoHs, WEEE, REACH, EICC or SA8000 etc.
? Have the ability to work independently and diligently with little supervision, and cooperate well in the team environment.
? Have the willingness to directly communicate with MWM/Harman factories, sub-suppliers, and customers.
? Be able to work well with customers and foster cooperation between cross functional teams at MWM/Harman.
? Have the experience and/or formal training in Environmental Compliance to fully understand regulations and customer needs.
