Human Resources and Payroll Manager for operating group in China
Location of the role
Base in Shanghai

Job Responsibilities
Business Partner
The position will act as a business partner to the Management/Leadership Team to provide both strategic and operational support through leveraging resources from Group China HR team.
Organizational Development
The position will facilitate the discussions under guidance from the Management/Leadership Team to support the implementation of the organizational development initiatives, which include structural development, job design, skills and training needs analysis, compensation benchmark
Performance Enhancement
The position will lead the Performance Bonus Plan(PBP) review and KPIs setting process and ensure on-going/mid-year reviews are conducted in a professional way. Based on feedback of PBP reviews, the position will work with the management team to identify career development/training opportunities for individual team members. At the end of year, the position has to work closely with the management team to review and allocation of incentives upon performance against PBP/KPIs
Talent and Career Development Plan
The position will be the champion of talent development program for the Company. The specific responsibilities include talent review, talent gap analysis, talent action plan and communication/alignment with team leaders/individuals, as well as monitor and evaluate the progress
Training
The position will work together with the management team and Group HR Center of Excellence (COE) to ensure proper selections of participants to the right training program within the Company’s budget. The position will also follow up with individual team members and their supervisors for post training assignment to ensure effectiveness and ROI of our training investment
Culture and Team Building
The position will take the lead to develop and implement initiatives to nurture and strengthen Agency’s culture and team spirit
Talent Search
· Work with the Management/Leadership Team to understand the pre-requisite of the role requirement, i.e. experience, skill-sets and soft-skill of the candidates;
· Prepare job description base on the requirement from Management/Leadership Team
· Perform Search for suitable candidates;
· Identify and screen potential candidates for Management/Leadership Team for interview;
· Perform reference check for new hires/replacement
· Ensure headcount has been approved
Operation
· Prepare paper work to effect New Hires/Replacement Hires/Employee Transfer/Leavers. Such paper work includes offer letter, labor contract, employee registration form, etc
· Update the employee details in the HR system for employee movement within the Company.
· Notify IT and Group HR Operation Team for any employee movement.
· Conduct the Company induction to newly joined employees
· Ensure the monthly payroll calculation report receives from GroupM HR Operation Team is accurate
· Prepare monthly payroll calculation for tenthavenue employees
· Assist to prepare staff cost budget and forecast
· Review and approve employee allowances
What you will need:
· A Bachelor’s degree holder
· At least 5 years of human resources operational experience, preferably from a fast-growing, large volume, consistently changing and high complexity environment. Experience working in a MNC company is an advantage.
· Strong communication and interpersonal skills
· A fast learner to understand the Company business, strategy and direction and apply the knowledge to select and develop talents
· Ability to work with Team Leaders across business functions
· A person with high integrity and be able to work independently
· Bilingual in English and Chinese (Verbal and written)
