Summary of Position:
The Software Quality Assurance Engineer supports the quality activities related to software code development for new wireless voice communication products.

Key Accountabilities:
1.Project management for software quality assurance in all phases of product life cycle development, including software requirements review, test plan generation, black box/white box testing, integration testing, field testing, and regression testing;
2.Assess quality and reliability of software incorporated in Plantronics products;
3.Evaluation of product conformance to specification and market requirements;
4.Strong emphasis in wireless products.

Educational Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or Mathematics.

Experience and Competency:
1.5+ years related experience as a software quality assurance engineer (or similar);
2.Solid understanding of software development lifecycle;
3.Experience with C/C++, embedded software test issues and integration testing;
4.Hardware and Software experience in wireless communications in the 900MHz-2.4GHz range;
5.Audio processing and acoustic testing experience a plus;
6.Software code writing exp. will be a plus;
7.Excellent communication skills;
8.Fluent in English and Chinese.
