Key Accountabilities:

1.Define firmware/software specifications and develop embedded software systems for small consumer electronics such as wired and wireless headset systems
2.Firmware architecture design and develop new technologies/platforms
3.Work with QA on qualifying code for mass production
4.Collaborate with members of team in other disciplines (engineering, QA, program management, product marketing, etc.)
5.Work with worldwide design centers and suppliers on joint development

Basic Requirements:

1.5+ years embedded software/firmware development for consumer products
2.Strong skill for C/C++ language programming
3.Experience with communication interfaces- SPI, I2C, USB, etc.
4.Strong debugging skills with embedded software development tools and environment
5.Understanding of real-time embedded operating systems (RTOS)
6.Knowledge in configuration management/version control
7.Solid communication skills in English, both written and oral
8.Team work player and interpersonal skills is required

Very Desirable:

1.Experience in wireless product development-Bluetooth, DECT, Wifi, etc.
2.Capability of firmware/software architecture design
3.Experience in multi-site international product development
4.Basic understanding in electrical engineering
