Purpose of the Job
The purpose of this job is to ensure compliance with import and export related regulations and to minimize the compliance risks and related costs incurred. The incumbent is responsible for trade compliance issues for Global chemical products import/export for all China sites and acts as a focal point working with internal partners.
Main Responsibilities
1. Collect product info. from different channel, PM, TS and etc.
2. Prepare documents for pre-classification.
3. Verify classification.
4. Manage HS classification database;
5. Manage Customs & CIQ enquiries on classifications, permits/licenses and evaluations;
6. Keep closer relationship and effective communications with both internal (sales, CS, and engineers) and external parties (brokers);
7. Other supporting works.
Knowledge, Education and Experience Requirements
? University degree in International trade, Logistics, Business studies or chemistry related.
? Minimum 2 years in related positions
? Pre-classification or customs experience preferred
? Comprehensive knowledge of Harmonized Tariff System :
? Good English skills.
? Thorough knowledge of import/export documentation requirements
