Job description:
1. Expand Sales Activity in Project & Bulk Industry
a) Target & capture new project customers.
b) Follow up overseas sales leads to capture new business opportunities. (i.e. sales towards shipper or gathering market intelligence for nomination opportunities)
c) Co-work with all YLCN Sales to expand and diversify our customer portfolio (either through digging sales support or through maintenance of secured new customers)
2. Marketing (Development and Implementation)
a) Overall project industry market analysis per each XCO area.
b) Provide feedback of customer product necessities to procurement for better solution designing.
c) Provide YLCN Sales with market trend driven directional guidance.
3. Key Account Development Sales for Targeted Industries
a) Key account management (incl. initial sales support)
b) Co-work with YLCN branch and YL overseas Sales to develop new from existing business.
c) Strategic Sales to materialize “Showcase” type business for key certain commodities.
Job Requirements:
1. Have 3-5 years’ sales experience full of passion and study.
2. Fluent spoken and written English skills;
3. Understanding of operation for Break Bulk/PORO/Project Cargo
a) Packing of the cargo
b) Port handling, un-loading from truck, storage at port storage area, loading on trailer
c) Vessel handling, loading on to vessel, cargo lashing on the vessel etc.
4. Understanding of container cargo.
Packing, container vanning(GP/OT/FR). Cargo Lashing/ Fixing in Container. Devanning of cargo at Door, Un-Packing, Flat moving to the location, Cargo installation.
5. General understanding of Export/Import Freight Forwarding.
6. YLCN Internal Process (to be introduced upon onboarding)
7. Communication skill, to deal with various functions of people within and outside of the company.
8. Sales experience and sense, and willing to study and improve.
9. Team player mind to continuously understand that you are the part of cycle.
10. Sensitivity for the risk – Risk of operation capacity, Risk of credit, collection.
11. Flexibility – Dealing with the continuously changing situation and environment at operation site, and company policy and organization.
