Position Description
1. Work closely with Quality control team to assist on resolving/root causing the issues reported by the field;
2. Work closely with the CM’s to root cause and provide resolution of the issues reported/found on the production line;
3. Support the PMC team in the qualification process of 2nd source components;
4. Edit or develop new schematics/layouts to support changes during production;
5. Provide inputs to the design team during the designing of the new products from the lessons learned from production/sustaining products;
6. Support the PVT (Process verification) build;
7. Link with the design team during DVT (design verification) stage to understand and do a smooth transition from design phase to PVT and MP (Mass production) phases.
Qualifications
1. BS or MS in EE and 5 years related working experience (preferably in a factory environment);
2. Capable of analyzing and designing consumer electronics circuits optimized for cost and power efficiency;
3. Preferred to have a candidate with excellent skill and knowledge in digital, power and analog circuits;
4. Knowledge of rules of solar panel/power charging/switch mode power supply design will have advantage over other candidates but isn’t a must;
5. Deep understanding in EMI, component qualification, reliability;
6. Agility and ability to learn new things quickly;
7. Able to work in a background using English as working language.
