职位描述

GENERAL SUMMARY


This position is accountable for developing and implementing sales strategy and effective account management of a major customer or group of customers to grow sales for Service Solutions, China. The position is focused on typical sales activities, such as identifying opportunities, preparing and presenting proposals to customers, and participating in trade shows and other customer interaction opportunities.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS)


1. Conduct evaluation of customer potential and develop strategic plan to achieve complete penetration of multiple product lines with customer.

2. Conduct market research to remain familiar with industry trends and competitive activity in the marketplace.

3. Interfaces with Engineering, Marketing and DES Product Development Teams.

4. Develop and maintain program status reports to track progress and ensure on-time delivery to meet customer requirements.

5. Prepare and present proposals and quotes to decision-makers at customer.

6. Act as SPX's primary liaison for customer information and coordination of a global strategy to support customer global brands.

7. Serves as OEM liaison to DES field.

8. Works closely with Project Management team.

9. Drives daily promotions for Tools and Equipment.

10. Assist with sales forecasting and inventory management.

11. Develop vehicle launch cycle plans for all markets to support new tool requirements.

12. Revenue and Gross Margin accountability for Tools and DES.

13. Maintain and revise customer Global Tool Process when necessary.

14. Periodically visit customer dealerships to maintain awareness of issues and trends.

15. Schedule and participate in tech suites, trade shows, and other product presentations.

16. Identifies Electronic Product Development opportunities at assigned customers.

17. Sells full Service Solutions capability.


EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing or related degree desired.

Minimum of 3 years relevant work experience in sales position, preferably in automotive industry.
