职位描述：
Senior merchandiser is in charge to develop in China the suppliers database and the items accordingly, based on the targets given.
He is responsible to provide the correct product as per technical file and product manager willing, on time, with a competitive margin, following ID Group quality requirements (product quality, ethic…)
Strong management to ensure orders to be delivered on time (DOT) and conformed to OKAIDI/OBAIBI requirements.
1. Mission
Develop and manage the suppliers database
Develop a supplier database :
Well understand the brand OKAIDI and OBAIBI in term of styling, designing and fabric/ yarns quality requested by our product manager in France.Find suitable suppliers for our brand OKAIDI and OBAIBI, able to provide the correct proto-samples at competitive pricesTrain the new suppliers to ID GROUP requirements (ethic, safety of the products, quality management…)Go to the factory for the first audit.
Manage the suppliers :
Follow the suppliers in order to improve their performance regarding audit, quality, reactivity, delivery, fiabilityArrange the in-line inspection at the beginning of the production to ensure that they can pass the final inspection at first time. Go to the factory for the first inspection and be sure that their well understanding of our requirements (packing, quality level…)Support the suppliers for payment…in order to build the partnership
Development and negotiation
Receive and study the technical files sent by buyers from FranceDevelop the protosamples according to technical file with the most suitable suppliers. Give to the suppliers all the informations needed so they are able to develop the correct protosample.Check the protosamples and send to France only the one matching with our brand image and Technical filesNegotiate the price with the supplier by checking the cost breakdown and buyer’s targetSelect the right supplier for order placement (quality skills, capacity…)
Order follow up
Garantee the conformity of the bulk production according to the requirements of the product manager and order sheet. (design, color, lab tests…)Guarantee the correct packing of the bulk orderGuarantee the production schedule on time in order to catch the MAD negotiated in the PO.Check with technical department SSS and PPS in order to follow the production schedule.
Orders repartition management
Manage the factories capacity, know-how… to place ordersOne supplier cannot represent more than 40% of the quantity of one department in order to share the risks
Handle suppliers claim
In case of claim for quality, delivery…negotiate with the supplier the cost they will need to bear to not penalize ID GROUP

Ensure to provide and give all the informations among your colleagues in the officeEnsure the reporting regarding development and orders follow up, suppliers sourcing
