Chief Accountant
? Experience in leading and managing a cross China team
? Travelling in China on need basis

Job Description
1. Reporting and Compliance
Produce high quality and timely monthly and annual financial reports in accordance with general accepted accounting principles (IFRS and local GAAP) with full review of P&L, Balance Sheet and Cash. This includes monthly accruals and journals and monthly balance sheet reconciliation of GL and inter-company accounts.
Ensure full compliance with internal accounting policies and external regulations in collaboration with East Asia regional teams (Company Secretarial/Treasury/Tax/Group Accounting etc.) and external parties (e.g. Auditors, Tax Consultants, Lawyers).
2. Audit, Tax and Treasury
Manage relationships with local auditors, being the key point of contact within the business. Co-ordinate audit plans, ensure timely completion of annual audit and follow up of audit recommendations.
Ensure full tax compliance and reporting by addressing and coordinating tax issues closely with Tax and external tax advisors.
Transfer pricing documentation, inter-company’s sub-contracting arrangement and settlement.
Monitor working capital and cash forecast, ensuring receivables and payables are appropriately controlled and managed within the team.
3. Process Improvement
Identify and implement ongoing process improvement and cost efficiencies for the organization and target to deliver process simplification and driving efficiencies.
Support implementation of corporate enterprise systems for China’s operations, projects and staff.
4. Budget & Forecast
Support the FP&A team in the delivery of the budget & forecast process and associated activities in relation to P&L and Balance sheet.
Review and monitor capital, overhead and business cost against budgets
5. Ad-hoc Project
Lead or provide support any ad-hoc project(s) for China as required.

Qualifications
1． Qualified Accountant (CICPA, CIMA, ACCA, or equivalent)
2． Bachelor degree in accounting or finance
3． Minimum 8 years' relevant experience with 5 years in a similar role
4． Hands on with strong people skills. Demonstrates capability with MS Office products.
5． Experience with JDE essential
6． Working knowledge of local GAAP, IFRS and China tax rules
7． Experience of working in an MNC is preferred
8． Excellent planning and organising skills to effectively manage multiple tasks with competing priorities.
9． Results driven and ability to ensure the team delivers to deadlines
10．Good written and verbal communication skills in English and Chinese are required.
