Your role
Do you learn best through reverse-engineering? Do you know how web pages work? Are you interested in becoming a hero within a team of existing heros? If so we could use you to help us:
Play a mission critical role in the overall Evidence Lab team by being responsible for designing and building new data pipelines
Innovate by identifying quicker, better, easier ways to vacuum data off the internet
Find interesting sources and channels of relevant data
Investigate data issues and statistical anomalies of harvested data

Evidence Lab is one of the most innovative and highly regarded teams in UBS Investment Bank. We thrive on innovation and work as a startup within a well-established and well-funded investment bank. We specialize in various analytical techniques including web harvesting, geospatial, social media, market research, and supply chain.

Your experience and skills
You have:
2+ years web development experience
2+ years database experience
2+ years in Python
Detailed knowledge of Browser-Web Server interaction including DNS, HTTP, SSL, GET vs POST
Proven experience making business and technical decisions affecting project timelines
Experience in web scraping/SEO/Search/Analytics related projects
Ability to self-manage and prioritize workload\
? Agile/Scrum or similar approaches to project management

You are:
