Role/Scope:
Manage retail operations and staff, providing leadership and managing of boutiques in Northern China to maintain growth and profitability. Ensure that the area adheres to the brand standards as well as the standard operating procedures inherent to the La Perla's business model, and ensure an efficient interface with the corporate functions.

Key Responsibilities:
 
1. Plan and implement retail strategy to achieve sales goal
2. Manage Operations budget in order to review and interpret financial and operational information as appropriate
3. Communicate store and company objectives so both management and staff are well informed
4. Manage daily shop operations in the area
5. Monitor and manage inventory and stock in the store
6. Monitor sales trends and sales promotion activities
7. Determine the areas of responsibilities for employees to ensure a smooth workflow
8. Identify the training needs of employees and oversee their implementation
9. Propose, coordinate and monitor the activities of new store opening (business plans, approval of locations, legal affairs, sales potential, planning, check on the progress of the work, events, shop window guidelines, best practices to conduct a store)
10. Coordinate and monitor the retail targets accomplishment
11. Coordinate activities of local merchandising (buying), in collaboration with the corporate function merchandising
12. Coordinate the legal affairs in the framework of setting up operations and store openings
13. Take part of the construction of the finance assumptions and submission of all finance information to Corporate
14. Monitor KPI, the implementation of best practices and the achievement of company targets;
15. Ensure that the visual merchandising tools are fully implemented according to the visual calendar
16. Require approval to the Corporate of the marketing plan and all marketing initiatives;
17. Support and coordinate the Operational Marketing initiatives
18. Define and plan training programs consistently with the training standards of La Perla
19. Coordinate the implementation of IT tools, the proper training and usage by sales teams in stores
20. Perform other duties as assigned by management





Skills & & Experience

√ Degree holder in related discipline
√ Minimum 4 years relevant experience with minimum 2 years at managerial level and preferable in international luxury fashion
√ Fluency in Mandarin and English, good presentation skills
√ Proficient in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Chinese word processing
√ Demonstrate high standards of quality by personal example
√ Self-motivated, high sense of responsibility and personal integrity
√ Good planning and organization skills, able to perform multiple activities or work on multiple tasks successfully
√ Positive, enthusiastic, initiative, self-motivated, and willing to exert greatest effort to achieve results with a sense of urgency
√ Open, active, good communication and interpersonal skills
√ Energetic with flexible travel mobility
√ A team player with the flexibility to liaise among different parties
√ Able to motivate and support a team in establishing quality criteria and a framework incorporating standards, guidelines and procedures

The story began in 1954, when Ada Masotti, a corset-maker (couturière) founded the iconic lingerie brand in Bologna. La Perla is one of few historical fashion houses with a woman founder and this year marks the 65th anniversary. The brand name was inspired by the elaborate way Masotti would present her products to customers - carefully packaging them away in red velvet boxes like those you would use for jewelry.
 
The name she chose - La Perla - was certainly full of promise. Starting out when stretch fabrics had yet to appear and expert tailoring was the only way to shape a garment, Ada Masotti laid the foundations for that attention to detail and love of perfection which are still central to La Perla's philosophy today.
 
La Perla has evolved to become one of the most well-known luxury underwear brands in the world. "La Perla has changed in the same way that women have changed over the years" says the brand's Creative Director, Alessandra Bertuzzi, but "functionality, technicality, craftsmanship the key aesthetics have been preserved and respected."
 
Since 2013, La Perla was owned by Italian businessman Silvio Scaglia via its Pacific Global Management holding company. In February 2018, it was acquired by German entrepreneur Lars Windhorst under his global investment firm, Tennor Holding B.V. His mission is to take La Perla to the next level and continue Silvio’s vision of creating a worldwide luxury brand, while keeping its production in Europe.
 
La Perla’s strategic focus is shaped around maximizing its business opportunities in each region, modernizing the core business whilst staying authentic and relevant to todays’ luxury consumers and continue being true to their brand DNA, iconic collections, and core values.
 
The aim is to become a luxury everyday lingerie/intimate apparel brand and consistently deliver new and innovative products with the intention to retain loyal customers and gain new ones.
