Sandvik in Shanghai is seeking for Business Integrity Case Manager - APAC region

The position would directly report to Head of Business Integrity, Sandvik AB, below please refer to the job description:

Key performance area:
? To help management mitigate the risk of breaches to Sandvik's code of conduct and/or relevant legislation. Where allegations of one or more breaches are made, providing management with the factual position in order for management to institute appropriate remediation, including improving internal controls to prevent a reoccurrence.
? Undertake investigations into one or more alleged breaches of the Sandvik Code of Conduct and/or relevant legislation
? Liaison with law enforcement organizations as required
? Maintain records and statistics on investigations undertaken and the results of those investigations
? To provide advice and guidance to management on investigation matters including advising on compliance matters and assistance to develop risk mitigation strategies as defined
? To ensure the effective communication of the Speak Up Whistleblower (Speak Up) system
? Ensure all Speak Up matters are followed through to resolution on a timely basis
? Recommending appropriate remediation, including disciplinary and/or criminal action, as appropriate
? Provide management information to monitor the effectiveness of the Business Integrity function

Your profile:
? An individual to be educated to a higher education level, ideally to first degree level. However educational achievements will be of less importance than strong practical experience although strong written and spoken communication skills are essential.
? Minimum 8-10 years of experience in undertaking detailed investigations, whether gained through working for a professional services firm, a similar engineering/industrial sector company or working with law enforcement and security agencies
? Experience of conducting fact-finding investigations to help assess allegations of possible impropriety and responding to management
? Sound understanding of business processes and internal controls to mitigate risk
? Experience of forensic accounting and investigatory techniques, including conducting interviews and the use of data analytical and document review tools to assist in investigations
? Experience in drafting factual findings reports and handing evidential material
? Experience of giving evidence for purposes of disciplinary enquiries, arbitration or court (or other legally empowered body) and being able to respond under cross examination in support of investigation findings.
? Be highly organized and have strong influencing skills.
? Strong knowledge and understanding of appropriate Anti-Bribery and Corruption and Anti Money Laundering legislation.
? Strong knowledge and understanding of Fraud and Financial Crime.
? Fully fluent in Chinese and English. Proficiency in other languages would be an advantage.
