该高级经理的职位主要负责战略领导、销售和营销。总体负责实现组织愿景、使命和目标,负责制定新的规划举措,维护现有的合作伙伴关系并开拓新的合作伙伴关系,积极领导中国团队,从中国大学、学术和科学期刊、医院、制药公司、实验室、图书馆、数据库管理公司、新闻报道等来识别、鉴定和把握市场先机。该职位还要负责与营销部门进行联系以确保品牌知名度和认可度。
职位职责:
销售和业务发展(主要职责):通过创建和管理合作伙伴网络渠道,建立和维护高水平的客户、战略合作伙伴关系和行业关系;参加学术研讨会和会议,发展与大学、出版社、实验室、医院等的联盟,并促进科学学术编辑服务。
营销(主要职责):考虑竞争和市场需求的要素,监督和启动营销活动,如展览和会议;支持中国本地营销团队,确保公司网站和所有社交媒体均为最新消息。
战略发展与实施:实现区域一级的愿景和使命,按照组织战略领导和指导当地员工。与高层管理人员密切沟通,了解相关因素和业务环境变化,并且领导中国区域整体战略的制定和实施。
代表:发展和加强与中国大学、学术和科学期刊、医院、制药公司、实验室、图书馆、数据库管理公司、新闻界和科学技术与医疗出版业界等其他相关部门的关系。
人力资源管理与组织发展:为中国员工提供支持,定期参加审核、信息交流、协调、学习和决策。
信息、沟通和学习:确保成功经验和***执行方案都有记录可查,并在整个公司内分享。
监督与其他人的关系:与来自中国和印度办事处的各部门工作人员合作,其中包括:销售、营销、客户服务、付款、会计和财务、人力资源以及其他所有团队。
担负责任:对区域层面的决策负责,在高层管理人员的监督下独立工作。
市场研究:分析、跟踪和更新可能直接或间接影响公司经营、销售或发展的市场趋势以及政府政策等。

Overview:
The Vice President has the overall responsibility for the strategic leadership with Sales and Marketing as primary responsibility to achieve the organizational vision, mission and objectives. Is responsible for developing new programming initiatives, new partnerships and maintaining existing partnerships and actively lead the China team to identify, qualify and capture emerging opportunities from Chinese universities, Academic and Scientific Journals, Hospitals, Pharma Companies, Laboratories, Libraries, Database Management Companies, Press etc. The role will also have significant dotted line collaboration and interface with the Marketing divisions to ensure brand visibility and recognition.
DUTIES:
Sales & Business Development (Primary): Build and maintain high level clients, strategic partnerships and industry relationships by creating and managing Channel Partner network. Participating in Academic workshops or Conferences and developing alliances with Universities or Publishing Houses or Laboratories or Hospitals etc. to promote scientific academic editing services.
Marketing (Primary): Supervise and Initiate Marketing activities considering elements of competition and market needs like Exhibition and Conferences. Support the Local China Marketing team and ensuring the company’s website and all social media channels are up to date.
Strategy development and implementation: Vision and mission at the regional level and lead, direct and mentor the local staff in line with the organizational strategy. Maintaining close communication with the top management on relevant factors and changes in the business environment and provide leadership in the development and implementation of overall China strategy.
Representation: Develop and strengthen relationships with Chinese universities, Academic and Scientific Journals, Hospitals, Pharma Companies, Laboratories, Libraries, Database Management Companies, Press and any other segments in the Science Technology and Medical publisher industry.
Human Resources Management and Organizational Development: Provide support to China staff, be involved in regular reviews, exchange of information, coordination, learning and decision making.
Information, Communication and learning: Ensure that experiences and best practices are documented and shared across the organization
Supervision & Relationships with others: Work in collaboration with staff from China and India office from various departments: Sales, Marketing, Client servicing, Payments, accounting and finance, Human Resource and all other teams.
Accountability: Accountability and responsibility for decisions at regional level and work independently under the supervision of the top management.
Market research: Analyze, follow and update market trends, govt. policies etc. that may directly or indirectly affect the company's operations, sales or growth.
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
- Must have 10 to 12 years of work experience.
- Prior experience in STM publishing industry and office management would be an added advantage.
