Job Purpose
? To lead the marketing team delivering conversion rate and leads to our conference, training and membership products with focus on the B2C development.
? To support the sales team with compelling campaign and effective messages.
? Support the RICS brand awareness and market penetration with tactical and strategic marketing plans.
? To support the product and business development teams with market insight.
Key Responsibilities
? Achieve strong ROI on all marketing investment.
? By identifying gaps in the market place and working with Product Development to fulfil, build RICS brand and revenue.
? By significantly contributing to a start-up business within RICS to increase the availability of quality training and conference, have a direct impact on increasing members numbers.
? Profitable revenues generated from RICS product and services.
? High favourability towards RICS with repeat and longer term programmes being taken up
? Successful launches of new products and services across the businesses
? Penetration of markets both laterally and vertically
? Developing a high-quality brand which enhances RICS
responsible for
? Prepare and implement an annual marketing plan which underpins the overall product business plan, including defining market requirements for training, conferences and membership services with market segmentation to determine focus for product development.
? Working with product development, ensure that there is a marketing plan to support each of the products as they are qualified, developed and released onto the market.
? Develop tactical campaigns and appropriate materials to deliver growth targets for market awareness, penetration and revenues.
? Develop relationships and liaise with internal and external stakeholders to ensure the growth of the brand and products.
? Manage production and distribution of marketing materials.
? Manage the annual marketing budget.
? Other jobs and tasks as line manager assigned.
Experience Required
? A graduate with significant marketing experience within a commercial organisation preferably within training and conference background or professional services organisations
? Experience of developing and implementing marketing strategies/plans
? Strong direct marketing experience in a business to business environment
? Knowledge of the property and construction industry desirable
? Formal marketing qualification (IDM/CIM) essential
? Experience of a start-up environment
? Ability to deliver innovative campaign generation
? Experience of website management, e-marketing, CRM and marketing databases
? Strong project management skills – delivery on time and within budget
? Customer focused, with the ability to build good external and internal relationships
? Comfortable in a client facing environment
? Highly IT literate
? Excellent communication, persuasion, negotiation and presentation skills
? Budget management and planning skills
? Strong organisational and multi-tasking skills
? Positive, can-do attitude
? Good problem-solving ability, creativity, drive and entrepreneurial spirit
? Ability to work on own initiative and good team player
? Proven ability to achieve financial targets
? Proven track record working with both telesales and field sales teams to achieve revenue targets and other business objectives
? Able and willing to travel as necessary within China.
? Experience of recruitment and people management is highly desirable.
