Requirements:




· Expert knowledge of Objective-C. Also should be able to understand C, C++ code.

· Thorough understanding of memory management and threading in iOS environments.

· Solid experience with the iOS SDK and Xcode.

· Experience with major frameworks in the Media, Core Services, and Core OS layers is a MUST. (Somebody focusing on writing objective-c code)

· Object oriented design skills.

· Prior experience developing production iOS apps.

· Knowledge of web services, specifically REST APIs.

· Excellent analytical and problem solving skills.

· Enthusiasm in learning new stuff and Learnability.

· BS/BA or Masters in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering or related field and at least 4 years' experience or equivalent training.

· Experience with agile software development and SCRUM in particular.

· Android development a plus.




Experience Required:




· Xcode, Objective-C - 4 years.

· iOS development (core libraries and frameworks)- 3 years.

· WebServices/REST/HTTP - 2 years.

· Working in a team - 4 years.




Tasks & Activities:




· Works closely with the Engineering Manager to develop software solutions based on a given set of requirements.

· Designs, develops, tests and maintains iOS applications.

· Investigates and resolves issues with our applications.

· Works collaboratively with peers and other teams such as QA, Product and Services.

· Works closely with external teams for ongoing development.

· Provides technical estimates for development efforts.

· Takes ownership of any given task and provides timely status updates.
