Reporting to the Senior Regional Marketing Manager, the successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the implementation of Retail Offline POS across Asia Pacific and to provide Category Management expertise across the region. Working closely with country trade marketing teams, they will be accountable for ensuring that POS executions across Asia Pacific are implemented according to the category brand guidelines and are of optimal quality. They will also drive and analyse the implementation of Category Management fundamentals across AP in line with the regional category strategy.
Key responsibilities include:
(i) Develop Retail Offline POS for countries in Asia Pacific
-Develop impactful & innovative POS materials to be utilized for markets in AP
-Leverage and adapt global POS designs that would be suitable for AP markets
-Influence country teams on local POS planning so as to ensure execution is done with excellence
-Share learnings and best practices from local POS designs to leverage best in class examples
(ii) Ensure POS execution consistency across Asia Pacific
-Oversee and drive the quality of local POS execution to ensure brand consistency
-Track and monitor the execution of POS implementations across AP
-Ensure in-store communications meet consumer needs and also delivers the category brand message
- Analyze KPIs and in-store execution on a regular basis, driving data based action plans
(iii) Provide Category Management leadership & expertise to Asia Pacific countries
-Define and analyse Category Management principles in AP to ensure optimal shopper experiences
-Create and deliver Retail Execution guidelines & planograms for countries to use with their merchandising / field sales teams
-Promote trade marketing targets and ensure KPIs are met and included in marketing planning
-Gather and generate additional shopper insights to feed trade marketing strategy when required
Skills required:
-4-6 years of work experience in Trade marketing with experience in Asia Pacific
-Experience in sales, merchandising or marketing communications experience would be beneficial
-Strong analytical and communication skills with the ability to influence virtual teams
-Tertiary qualifications in a Marketing or Business discipline is desirable
-In depth understanding of relevant retail landscape in AP (LFR, CES, Mass, Telco)
-Excellent command of written English with copy accuracy
-Ability to work effectively under pressure and adhere to tight deadlines.
