Position: Industry KA Manager
Report to: China Sales General Manager
Location: Taiwan, Taipei
 
The function is responsible for delivering value by drawing on the incumbent’s deep experience in electronic components’ Sales Management. The incumbent will distinguish him/herself to value creating activities and develop new perspectives on Strategy, Marketing, and Sales on a region level. The function is responsible for the technical and commercial aspects of sales and for the achievement of budget with the determined profitability of sales.

 This position reports to the East China Sales Manager, based in Shanghai. The incumbent will be interfacing on a daily basis with, Corporate Leaders, Business Leaders and in order to achieve his/her targets.

Key accountabilities
· Within the framework of LEM’s strategic orientations and targets deploy local sales strategies as generally agreed. Advise customers, securing the existing customer base and continuously extending this with new accounts. The aim is to continuously grow the business, improve market share and conquer new market segments. This will require the proactive introduction of new products
· Contribute to the implementation (selection, training etc.) of new sales channels (New Catalogues, Distributors, Agents).
· Utilise appropriate sales and marketing activities with Distributors (i.e. customer workshops, road shows, advertising, mailings, exhibitions, conferences etc. to boost direct in in-direct sales).
· Deliver efficient and effective customer and sales channels support to achieve a notable contribution to customer satisfaction and the achievement of company and sales targets. Give qualified, technical and application-oriented advice, as well as clarification of all technical questions from customers, prospects and Sales channels, autonomously and in cooperation with the in-house departments involved.
· Organise and chair customer meetings, write visit reports and follow-up on action.
· Undertake internal and external pro-active project follow-up.
· Handle all technical and commercial correspondence
· Produce competitor and market surveys with the corresponding reporting:
o Record competitor pricing policies, customers, quantities and projects
o Identify new market and customer potential.
 · Reporting: contribute, through the provision of relevant data to the preparation of monthly and quarterly reports to the sales management.
· Maintain data: update existing customer data and introduce new customers and prospects.
· Ensure Dynamic Rolling Forecast: ongoing introduction of all available information relative to customer related products and quantities for optimal production planning.
· Prepare of mailings and execution of mailings in cooperation with Marketing and Communications.
· Contribute to Budget planning and strategic planning and its deployment (Budget, Business Plan, Action plans)
· Participation in trade fairs
· Contribute upon request to specific company projects also not directly related to customers
Candidate Profile
· Mature and autonomous, minimum 5 years of successful professional experience as Sales Manager with P&L responsibility over a region
· A successful sales track record of at least 5 years duration with an electrical /electronic products, with a focus on delivering positive bottom line results. Some (early) R&D experience would be advantageous.
· Good technical understanding of transducers, from a commercial perspective
· Proven track record in opening up and developing major accounts over time, combined with well-developed negotiating skills.
· Market driven and proactive approach with the ability to input to sales strategy, to determine business priorities and tailor products
· Degree (or degree level) qualification in Electrical or Electronic Engineering, possibly complemented by a formal business or marketing post-graduate degree.
· Ability to give real direction and leadership to the commercial development of the business in line with the company’s growth objectives is critical.
· Strong organizational skills and the ability to work without close supervision or direction
· Pro-active, self-starter with capability to work in team, results driven
· Fluent (speaking and writing) in English. Customer languages mother tongue.
