The Position
This role works directly with leading garment manufactures and brands for outdoor, man's wear, woman's wear and uniform in the China market.
Responsibilities
? Establish direct contact with leading garment manufactures for medical, barrier and technical textiles commercial.
? Identify partnering and marketing opportunities
? Establish and maintain on-going customer relationships with the various parties to anticipate and resolve potential problems.
? Develop and maintain a sales approach and method, resulting in open and productive customer communications with the critical decision-makers.
? Plan and prioritize personal sales activities and customer contact towards achieving agreed business aims.
? Record, analyze, report and administer according to systems and requirements.
? Enhance business sales and status with assigned accounts, while continuously prospecting for new accounts.
? Coordinate with research center, product development, quality control and technical support.
? Sales forecast & sales target responsibilities.
? Monitor and report on competitive activities, products, developments, etc.
? Attend trade fairs, symposia, events - related fabrics.
? Be the eyes and ears of the company within the assigned territory as well as the entire industry.
? Travel as necessary to service clients and company needs.
Experience, Competencies
? Undergraduate degree
? 4 years minimum of experience
? Fluent in English / Mandarin
? Fabric experience from outdoor, man's wear, woman's wear and uniform is highly desired.
? Pro-active, results oriented, leader of initiatives.
? Team Player
? Must be able to travel on average 2 -3 days a week
? Relatively independent planning and execution of work
