Amazon Merchant Service started from 2002 in The States and now it accounts for 30% of all units sold on Amazon websites globally. Amazon China Merchant Service team was built in 2010 and is growing rapidly in terms of team size and sales revenue and the trend will continue in 2013. “Selling on Amazon” service within Amazon Merchant Service team allows 3rd party sellers to open a store and sell their products on Amazon. In this context, Amazon is looking for a bright and ambitious individual to join our list creation team (LCT).
Listing creation specialist act as the primary interface between Amazon marketplace and sellers. In this position, applicants will be responsible for helping Chinese sellers selling on amazon marketplace and providing timely and accurate support to recently joined merchants who are recruited by sales team. Candidates will be comfortable both in a self-sufficient role, as well as one of team support and interaction. Ownership of work is extremely important, and candidates should have a proven record of working with projects to their completion.
The objective of the List Creation Specialist is to deliver new business growth and maximize revenue generation across Amazon's suite of products for merchants. You will prospect, qualify and close high potential merchants that deliver competitive selection, pricing, and availability. You will help them launch on Amazon's marketplace by working with them to ensure they master catalogue, pricing and other tools.
Operating in a fast-moving and sometimes ambiguous environment you will be required to work autonomously taking full control and responsibility for achieving business objectives. This role provides a real opportunity to develop original ideas, approaches, and solutions in a competitive and ever changing business climate.
Key Responsibilities:
?Onboard and train Amazon sellers so they are product experts setup for success in managing their own Amazon account
?Communicate new Amazon business feature releases to sellers and conduct ongoing training (i.e. AmazonBusiness, FBA, Sponsored Product)
?Work with Sales Teams to push for ‘perfect launch’ and expedite seller ramp up process
?Improve seller performance by tracking and drive improvements on key business metrics such as LDR (Listing Deficient Rate) and ODR (Order Deficient Rate)
?Liaise with Amazon Global Selling onboarding teams based in Seattle and Luxenberg to share best practices and align on a common approach
?Report results and bring back seller voice for listing upload to global teams
Basic qualification:
?Understanding of eCommerce business and online merchandising
?Experience in creating and interpreting data, and making business recommendations based on data analysis
?Demonstrated trackable [WE2] record of success in project management/technical support/account management roles
?Excellent Mandarin & English communication skills – this role involves creating SOP and documents both in English and Chinese.
?Strong interests on learning new things and solving problems
?Intermediate to advanced computer skills (Excel, Word, Outlook, Access)
?Bachelor’s degree or above
Preferred qualification:
?Strong data analytical techniques or business intelligence skills such as Advanced Excel, VBA, Access, SQL are highly preferred in this position
?Experience with e-commerce or retail would be an advantage
?Technical background or data related experience is a plus
?B2B or manufacturing experience or knowledge is an advantage
