Job Summary / Job Purpose
1.Ensure quality and integrity of financial and accounting data for branch, and assure compliance with local regulatory requirements from PBOC/CBRC/SAFE and other financial statistics supervision institutions.
2.Timely submission of all regulatory reporting at branch level, assure branch and consolidation data consistency and correctness.
3.Perform regular tax declaration and general expense accounting process for Shanghai branch.
4.Support branch financial manager to handle various of requests from branch management and front line.
Main Responsibilities /Accountabilities / Tasks
1.Ensure accuracy and timely submission of regulatory reports (PBOC, CBRC, SAFE, Statistics, Tax bureau)
2.General expenses booking and control, including branch staff expense claim and vendor payment voucher booking;
3.Tax accounting and declarations;
4.Participate in business accounting set-up and perform daily/monthly product accounting controls, coordinate with MO/BO teams to resolve accounting anomalies, including timely clean-up suspense/transit accounts and cash/RCG breaks;
5.Take ownership on account permanent supervision, manual entry monitoring, and decrease operational risks;
6.Timely archiving of invoices, accounting vouchers and report filings;
7.Provide accurate information to regulators and respond timely to both regular and ad-hoc survey or requests
8.Maintain regulatory reporting logic, and ensure reporting procedures updated on yearly basis or in line with regulatory requirements;
9.Coordinate with internal and external counterparties related to reporting data issues, cross department process, new reporting requirements or projects
10.Contribute accounting and reporting knowledge in new product/new business developments, and assist manager to automate report production and improve working efficiency;
11.Backup teammates when needed
12.Other ad-hoc tasks as required including support handling requests from BM and FO actively.
Candidate Profile
Academic Background(degree and major): University degree in accounting or finance
Working Experience /Technical Skills & Know how
1.Minimum 5 years work experience in banking Finance department focus on financial reporting and tax
2.Solid knowledge of China accounting standards, local taxation rules and banking regulatory requirements
3.Good understanding of investment banking and commercial banking products/businesses

3.Good interpersonal and communication skills
4.Good team work and cooperative attitude
Language Skills:Good command in both speaking and written English
Computer Skill:Proficient with Microsoft Excel, Word and Powerpoint.
Professional Qualification(if applicable)
1.Accounting qualification & certificates
2.Qualification of CPA / ACCA / CGA / CIMA is a plus
Internal & External Business Relationship (if applicable)
1.Keep good communication and relationship with the regulators (PBOC, CBRC and other regulators)
2.Coordinate with internal/external auditor for any requests on accounting, taxation or financial reports of the branch
3.Respond quickly and clearly to any internal accounting & reporting related inquiries
4.Good communication with different departments, e.g. Business Lines, Operations, Risk, Compliance, Branch management, etc.
