Job Summary / Job Purpose
1.Provides services and develops Trade Business to Customers within Assigned Portfolio
2.Acquires new trade customers in accordance with pre-determined targets set by management
3.Proactively identifies and refers potential non-trade business opportunities to the relevant relationship officers in a timely manner
4.Coordinates Trade Operations regarding trade documentation and related issues to ensure a seamless and professional banking experience for trade customers
5.Visits customers regularly to lobby for more trade business, supported by concise call reports
6.Proactively cross-sell trade products and services according to branch product marketing plans and customer needs, supported by concise call reports
7.Works seamlessly with Corporate Relationship Manager and other stakeholders to identify and convert non-trade customers into trade customers, including referrals of trade facility requests
8.Comply with the regulations, rules and procedures, internal and external applicable in the context of its function and follow the compulsory training.
Main Responsibilities /Accountabilities/Tasks
Provision of Services and Developing Trade Business to Customer within Assigned Portfolio
- Visits customers regularly for provision of outbound trade related services including trade account opening, trade documentation advisory services, and etc.
- Coordinates Trade Operations regarding trade documentation and related issues to ensure a seamless and professional banking experience for trade customers within the assigned portfolio
- Visits customers regularly to lobby for more trade business, supported by concise call reports
- Proactively cross-sell trade products and services according to branch product marketing plans and customer needs, supported by concise call reports
New Trade Customer Acquisition
- Acquires new trade customers in accordance with pre-determined targets set by management
- Follows up assigned inbound trade business referrals from Trade Operations and group offices into real trade business in a timely manner
- Follows up assigned potential trade customers leads obtained from customer groups and various marketing activities in a timely manner
- Works seamlessly with Senior Banker and Corporate Relationship Manager to identify and convert non-trade customers into trade customers, including referrals of trade facility requests
- Proactively identifies and refers potential non-trade business opportunities to the relevant relationship officers in a timely manner
- Compiles call reports and activity management statistics as required by management in a timely manner
Support Country Wide and In-branch Trade Marketing Activities
- Assists in organizing regular customer events/Seminars/Workshops as required
Protect the Bank's Interest
- Follows up on irregular bills and disputes with customers to ensure satisfactory and timely settlement
- Proactively alert of any negative development in customer businesses to the Bank and the relevant relationship managers
Candidate Profile
Academic Background (degree and major): Bachelor degree or above, international trade major is a plus
Working Experience /Technical Skills & Know how
- At least 5-8 years working experience with at least 5 years working as trade finance sales
- Knowledge of Trade services operation, trade product and services
- Knowledge in credit and account services
Skills & Competencies: Good interpersonal and communication skills
Language Skills:
- Fluency in Mandarin and English (both written and spoken)
- Local dialects are an advantage
Computer Skill: Good PC skills of Microsoft office, excel etc.
Others if any (require to travel, etc): Require to travel
