The company, one of the worlds leading pump Manufacturing Companies, has set up a regional "Support Centre" in Shanghai/Hongqiao in order to secure local support for the Asian region but also to be an important element for their Global support.

Role:
The Application Developer translates software requirements into concise and robust programming code by developing programs and application elements using standard development tools and platforms in order to support business requirements.

Duties and responsibilities:
- CBI - Continuous Business Improvement
- Project participation
- Incident handling (Buck Fixing)
- Application support/Service Desk
- Application Training (internal & external)
- Application Consultancy
- Standard Solution Ownership (i.e. Templates)
- Technical Architecture
- Application Development

Requirements:
- University degree or equivalent (Preferable University Master IT degree)
- At least 3 years of working experience
- Work experience with ABAP is a must
- Knowledge of one of the following development tools are preferable- Adobe Interactive From, Object oriented Enhancement framework, Work Flows, BPM, Web Dynpro (ABAP) or SAP Portal
- ABAP development experience from a larger Global industrial Production Company
- Alternatively experience from a Consultant Company doing similar kind of assignments
- International cultural understanding
- Self-motivating, systematic and careful
- Wants to be measured in quality and not quantity
- Fluent and effective in both spoken and written Chinese & English.
