Responsibilities:
l Reports to the Senior Design Manager;
l Lead the electronic design team for product development, project follow up and design verification;
l Develop production processes for OEM and ODM projects;
l Review design and provides improvement and technical solution to improve performance, reliability and manufacturability of electronic products/parts;
l Work across departments in the process of design and specification validations;
l Provide training to design team;
Requirements:
l Degree in Electronics/Electrical Engineering or related discipline;
l Minimum 8 years technical experience in consumer electronics or home electrical appliances;
l Solid experience in electronic design for electrical appliances, circuit design in the areas such as AC/DC motor, battery charger, AC/DV power supply etc;
l Sound knowledge of safety regulatory requirement ,e.g., ROHS,PAH,UL-CSA,UL,TUV,JIS etc;
l Experience of FMEA methodology;
l Timeline driven and able to plan schedules, preferably with a proven track record of getting products to market on time;
l Good leadership, management and communication skills;
l Fluent in written and spoken English and Chinese.
