Description:
We are looking for people who have a passion to develop people and provide solid project management to enable that. If you feel energized by supporting a learning environment that has business impact, this may be a role for you. You will be part of a global L&D team, leading multiple projects in China with cross-organizational program teams on implementation and improvement of training solutions. We ask you to demonstrate project and change management skills, strong leadership, communication, and cultural awareness; we look for the ability to work with senior leaders and to work in a matrixed, virtual team environment.
-Leads multiple programs/projects with cross-organizational program teams on implementation and improvement of training solutions.
-Accountable for program/project goals and the management of financial planning including budgeting, and tracking/reporting.
-Establish strong relationships across China Learning & Development (L&D) team and across the broader Human Resources to understand roles and responsibilities and interfaces.
-Utilize corporate systems and processes as required to accomplish project objectives.
-Utilize program/project management skills to establish and monitor deliverables, work breakdown structures, resources, costs and timing to implement broad training initiatives.
-Lead project teams to achieve project goals. Provide day-to-day feedback and recognition to project team members.
-Demonstrate problem solving and change management skills to resolve issues affecting the success of projects.
-Plan for and mitigate risks associated with projects.
-Plan and execute communication and status reporting.
-May partner with clients at various levels to identify and prepare faculty for delivery roles in training programs.


Qualification:
Education and Experience Required:
First level university degree, advanced university degree preferred or equivalent experience.
Typically 3-6 years experience, including managing moderate to large projects.
Preferred experience working for large Multi-national Corporation in the information technology (IT) services industry.
Experience working in virtual teams considering impact of cultural and geographical diversity
Preferred 2 years experience in sales, leadership and/or technical training

Knowledge and Skills Required:
Project management and program management skills.
Good facilitation and consulting skills
Strong leadership, communication, change management, and project management skills.
Solid relationship management skills, including competency in vendor management and cultural awareness.
Demonstrated ability in developing and implementing project plans.
Solid familiarity with learning content and training solutions.
Ability to work with senior leaders
Ability to work in a matrixed, virtual team environment
Flexibility to work across multiple time zones if/when necessary
Language Capability: Proficiency in English both orally and in writing.
Preferably training development or delivery background
