Reports To: Sales Manager China Classification: Salaried, Exempt
Location: Beijing, China Sales Area: Northern China (*)
(*) includes the following provinces:
Beijing, Gansu, Hebei, Heilongjiang, Henan, Inner Mongolia, Jilin, Liaoning, Ningxia, Qinghai, Shandong, Shaanxi, Shanxi, Tianjin, Xinjiang
Summary:
The Sales Engineer is responsible to acquire new customers in his area, to secure and develop existing customer relationships, having total customer satisfaction as ultimate goal. The negotiated contracts, discussed with US and Chinese management have to generate adequate profit to KOMAX.
Duties and Responsibilities:
? Establish and achieve yearly sales objectives
? Acquires new accounts by researching and identifying potential customers in assigned region. Does visit these potential customers and reports back through visit reports
? Works closely with the Chinese Sales Manager to identify actions and priorities
? Supports efficiently the Chinese Sales Manager on his national Key accounts
? Establishes long-term, ongoing relationships with customers and their other partners and networks
? Analyze assigned regional market and competitive product landscape
? Maintains up-to-date understanding of industry trends and technical developments that affect market
? Makes presentations to customers
? Requires to frequently traveling to visit potential customers
? Submitting RFQ to Inside Sales and quotations to customer
? Actively participating in negotiations and closing sales
? Administers customer accounts
? Preparing sales reports, quarterly activity reports
? Identifies current and future market requirements
? National & international travel required
? Play an active role in organizing and participating to Trade shows
Related Experience and Educational Requirements:
? Has a natural drive to persuade customers after having acquired them
? A mechanical/ electrical engineering background and 3-5 years field sales experience is a plus
? Proven ability to achieve sales objectives
? Strong technical background, experience in high-tech marketing or product management is a plus
? The ideal candidate will be self motivated, quick to deliver and a team player
? Flexibility is a must
? Ability to travel domestic and international
? Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
? Problem Solving, analysis
? Excellent communication/ presentation skills, both written and verbal
? Motherlanguage Chinese mandarin
? Second language English, written and verbal, required
